"Faciliating Open-ended Play" Training Workshops 

Through our interactive and engaging session, participants will actively partake in hands-on activities, immersing themselves in play and embracing the joy of simple sensory experiences. The content is research-based and delivered in a clear and easy-to-understand way. The workshop concludes by encouraging participants to reflect on their practices and explore opportunities for continuous improvement. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences, challenges and successes, fostering collaborative and supportive play and learning environment. Upon completion, participants will feel inspired and empowered, equipped with practical strategies to create engaging and enriching open-ended play experiences that stimulate children's senses and promote holistic learning, development, and well-being.

Workshop Objectives:

• Identify the diverse benefits of open-ended play and its importance in child development.

• Learn how to engage the senses to further enhance and extend children’s play and learning experiences to make them more memorable.

• Gain an understanding of children's play schemas and how open-ended play can effectively support children's interests and meet their developmental needs.

• Explore ideas on how to create inclusive open-ended invitations to play for various ages and stages of development.
